The increase was driven mainly by a rise in gold reserves to €345.87 billion from €334.05 billion in January, while foreign currency reserves also grew modestly to €31.01 billion from €30.55 billion. Claims on the IMF increased slightly to €38.23 billion from €38.20 billion, whereas other reserve assets edged down marginally to €6.46 billion from €6.46 billion.
