France Forex Reserves Increase in July

France’s official reserve assets increased to €357.05 billion at the end of July 2026 from an eight-month low of €355.39 billion in June, mainly driven by an increase in foreign currency reserves.
Foreign currency reserves climbed to €34.37 billion from €32.42 billion in the previous month.
Meanwhile, gold reserves declined to €276.79 billion from €277.03 billion, claims on the IMF fell to €39.42 billion from €39.46 billion, and other reserve assets decreased to €6.46 billion from €6.48 billion.
In July 2025, total reserve assets stood at €303.04 billion.
