French wages increased by 0.5 percent on quarter in the first quarter of 2017, following a 0.2 percent gain in the previous period. It was the sharpest increase in wages since the first quarter of 2015. Wage Growth in France averaged 0.53 percent from 1999 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 1 percent in the first quarter of 2001 and a record low of 0.10 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014.
