The Nikkei 225 Index fell 0.9% to below 65,000 on Tuesday, extending its decline to a third consecutive session and tracking a tech-led decline on Wall Street overnight as artificial intelligence infrastructure stocks remained under heavy selling pressure.

Japanese Shares Drop on Tech Weakness
The Nikkei 225 Index fell 0.7% to close at 65,528 on Monday, extending its decline from the previous session as technology stocks came under pressure ahead of Nvidia’s earnings report later this week.
