DAX Closes at Record High

The DAX 40 extended early gains to close about 0.7% firmer at 26,355 on Friday, setting a fresh record high and booking a 2.8% weekly gain.
Market sentiment remained supported by an upbeat earnings season, while investors awaited developments in US-Iran negotiations to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Germany's stronger-than-expected industrial production and export data further reinforced the positive market tone.
Technology shares rallied, with strength across software and semiconductor stocks.
SAP climbed 4.1% and Infineon Technologies advanced 2.9%.
Scout24, Siemens, BMW and Deutsche Borse also performed well, rising between 1.7% and 3.6%.
On the flip side, Daimler Truck (-2.8%) led losses after reporting an 18% drop in Q2 profit, despite raising full-year adjusted EBIT guidance.
Munchener Ruck fell 1.4% even after a suprise 6% increase in net profit.
Allianz fell 0.6%, as non-life insurance growth disappointed despite record operating profit.
