DAX Rises to Fresh Record

The DAX 40 rose 0.6% to near 26,300 on Friday, setting a fresh record high and marking the second day of advances.
Attention remained centered on corporate earnings and Middle East developments.
On the data front, Germany’s industrial production and exports topped market expectations, providing a positive signal for the economy.
The technology sector, particularly software companies and chipmakers, led sectoral gains, followed by pharma & healthcare and industrials, while insurers faced strong selling pressure.
SAP climbed 3.4% and Infineon Technologies added 1.6%.
Rheinmetall, Scout24, Qiagen and Brenntag also advanced solidly.
Daimler Truck slipped nearly 3%, after reporting an 18% drop in second-quarter profit and despite raising full-year adjusted EBIT guidance.
Munchener Ruck slid 2.7% even after a suprise 6% increase in net profit.
Allianz fell 0.9%, despite stronger-than-expected record Q2 operating profit, as net income came in below forecasts.
