DAX Advances to Fresh Highs

The DAX 40 continued its recent upward trend on Wednesday, rising 0.6% to fresh record highs above 26,300, amid growing optimism over a potential US-Iran deal.
Washington, Tehran, and Oman are reportedly close to a temporary 60-day deal to regulate passage through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Axios.
Meanwhile, the earnings season remained in full swing.
Fresenius SE & Co jumped more than 5% to lead the index after reporting better-than-expected second-quarter results and raising its full-year earnings guidance.
Siemens Energy gained 2.9% after posting stronger-than-expected third-quarter revenue and profit.
On the downside, Infineon Technologies tumbled more than 4%, the index's worst performer, after missing elevated margin expectations despite record revenue and a higher full-year outlook.
Deutsche Post fell about 2% despite beating earnings estimates and expanding its share buyback program.
