DAX Rises to New Peak
The DAX 40 finished about 0.8% higher at 26,223 on Tuesday, a fresh record high, extending gains for a fourth consecutive session, mainly buoyed by tech and AI-related stocks. Merck rose 2.7% after reporting second-quarter 2026 revenue and profit above market expectations and raising its full-year outlook. Bayer added 2.4% after reporting stronger-than-expected Q2 earnings while also lowering its 2026 net debt forecast.
