The DAX 40 extended its run of gains into a fourth consecutive session on Tuesday, rising 0.8% to fresh record highs above 26,200.
The ongoing earnings season remained in focus, while investors also tracked developments in the Middle East and weighed mixed signals from Washington and Tehran over prospects for peace negotiations.
Among the top gainers, Bayer climbed more than 4% after beating second-quarter estimates and reaffirming its 2026 sales outlook.
Tech and AI-related stocks also advanced firmly, with Infineon Technologies, Siemens Energy, and Hochtief rising between 1.5% and 3.5%.
On the downside, Zalando tumbled more than 17% after lowering its full-year sales outlook to the bottom end of its previous guidance, despite posting better-than-expected second-quarter net income, aided by the integration of ABOUT YOU.
Lufthansa lost 4% after missing profit expectations and cutting its outlook, while Hugo Boss fell after reporting sharp declines in sales and EBIT.
