The Shanghai Composite closed nearly flat at 3,932.7 on Monday, while the Shenzhen Component climbed 1.91% to 13,774.9, led by gains in technology shares.
The technology rally mirrored strong gains in US tech stocks on Friday, with enthusiasm over OpenAI's newest AI model lifting global sentiment toward chipmakers and AI-related companies.
Notable gainers included Cambricon Technologies (1.90%), SMIC (2.46%), Zhongji Innolight (10.38%), Eoptolink Technology (8.08%) and NAURA Technology (3.52%).
Meanwhile, China is injecting CNY 300 billion ($45 billion) into its largest banks and insurers as part of the country's biggest financial-sector recapitalization in nearly two decades, aimed at strengthening balance sheets and supporting credit growth amid a slowing economy.
Investors now turned their attention to key economic data due later this week, particularly trade and inflation figures.
