The Shanghai Composite rose 0.6% to a near one-month high of 3,965 on Monday, while the Shenzhen Component slipped 0.5% to 14,233, as investors assessed soft inflation data that reinforced expectations of policy support for the economy.

Annual consumer inflation eased to a six-month low of 0.5% in July, driven by further declines in food prices and slower growth in non-food costs.

Producer price inflation also moderated to 3.5% from 4.1%, marking its first slowdown since turning positive in March following the oil-price surge linked to the Iran conflict.

China's leaders vowed to bolster economic growth through faster infrastructure spending, seeking to offset persistent weakness in domestic demand despite resilient exports and factory activity.

PetroChina (1.4%), Kweichow Moutai (1.4%), and Foxconn Industrial Internet (2.6%) were among the top gainers.

Conversely, Zhongji Innolight (-3.9%), Eoptolink Technology (-4.7%), and Suzhou Dongshan Precision Manufacturing (-3.4%) lagged behind.

China Stocks Hit 3-Week High
The Shanghai Composite climbed 1.02% to close at 3,940 on Friday, while the Shenzhen Component advanced 1.42% to 14,311, with both indexes reaching their highest levels in three weeks as the latest trade data highlighted the country's resilient external sector. Over the week, the Shanghai Composite climbed 2.81%, while the Shenzhen Component soared 5.39%.
