Leading the gains are China Fortune (6.60%), Sanan Optoelectron (3.76%) and Kangmei Pharma (2.17%).

Top losers were Agricultural Bank of China (-3.92%), Great Wall Motor (-3.83%) and ICBC (-3.77%).

The sectors were lifted by renewed optimism over China's technology development, as DeepSeek's low-cost AI model and Alibaba's latest AI release boosted investor sentiment. Leading gainers included Cambricon Technologies (4.88%), SMIC (3.95%), Zhongji Innolight (13.24%), Eoptolink Technology (13.68%), and NAURA Technology (7.13%). In contrast, financial stocks such as Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (-3.77%), Agricultural Bank of China (-4.06%), and China Construction Bank (-3.35%) came under pressure. Domestically, investors looked ahead to key economic releases, including trade and inflation data, after the central bank reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the economy through a moderately accommodative monetary policy, ample liquidity, and balanced credit growth.

The Shangai Composite Index dropped 26 points or 0.68 percent on Monday to close at 3806 points. Losses were led by China Construction Bank (-3.69%), China Shenhua Engy (-3.55%) and Fuyao Glass Indu (-3.08%). Offsetting the fall, top gainers were Datang Intl (4.06%), Avic Aviation Engine (3.80%) and NARI Technology (2.83%).
