The DAX Index is up by 29 points or 0.11 percent on Monday.

Top gainers are Infineon (2.67%), Qiagen NV (2.61%) and Siemens Energy (2.18%).

Biggest losses came from Porsche Automobil (-2.81%), Siemens Healthineers (-1.16%) and Brenntag (-1.06%).

DAX Rises to Fresh High
The DAX 40 edged up 0.2% to around 26,360 in early trading on Monday, extending the previous week’s gains and reaching a fresh all-time high. Still, investors remained on edge amid ongoing uncertainty over the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran and Oman remained short of a final agreement, with Tehran demanding major concessions for the full reopening of the critical waterway. Siemens Energy rose 2.5%, while Infineon gained 3.0%, supported by continued strength in the technology and industrial sectors. Allianz advanced 1.4%, Merck gained 1.2%, and Qiagen NV climbed 2.6%. On the other hand, sharp losses were seen in Porsche Automobil (-2.5%), Siemens Healthineers (-1.3%), and Brenntag (-1.5%).

The DAX Index Closes 0.69% Higher
The DAX Index went up by 179 points or 0.69 percent on Friday to close at 26319 points. The rise was led by SAP (4.30%), Scout24 (3.52%) and Infineon (3.23%). On the downside, the weakerst performers were Daimler Truck Holding AG (-2.81%), Zalando (-2.11%) and Allianz (-1.63%).
