Frankfurt's DAX 40 rose 0.5% to 25,150 on Wednesday, hovering near a two-week high as upbeat corporate earnings and guidance offset caution over rising oil prices and the inflation risks stemming from escalating tensions in the Middle East.

Airbus led the gains, jumping 6% after the world's largest aircraft manufacturer unveiled ambitious profit targets for 2029, citing robust demand for commercial aircraft, and announced a share buyback program earlier than expected.

The positive outlook also lifted engine maker MTU Aero Engines, which gained more than 2%.

Meanwhile, Gea advanced over 5% after the industrial equipment maker raised its full-year outlook following a stronger-than-expected quarterly performance.

Investors also remained focused on Thursday's European Central Bank policy meeting, where policymakers are widely expected to keep interest rates unchanged after raising them in June.
