The DAX Index is picking up 157 points or 0.63 percent on Tuesday.

Gains are led by Infineon (5.44%), Zalando (3.66%) and Deutsche Post (3.04%).

Biggest losers are Bayer (-4.04%), Rheinmetall (-2.26%) and Hannover Rueck (-0.97%).

DAX Advances on Tuesday
Frankfurt's DAX 40 rose more than 1% to around 25,265 on Tuesday, following a weak start to the month, as AI optimism about tech stocks outweighed uncertainty over a Middle East peace deal. US President Trump said he expected a deal with Iran on extending a ceasefire and reopening the Strait of Hormuz could be reached next week, hours after reports that the negotiations had been suspended. Lebanon also announced a partial ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel, helping to ease tensions. Meanwhile, preliminary data showed Eurozone's inflation data rose further to 3.2% in May, matching forecasts, while core inflation surpassed expectations at 2.5%. Among key movers, Infineon Technologies surged 5.7% and SAP advanced 1.7%. Deutsche Post climbed over 3% after analysts at Kepler Cheuvreux issued a buy recommendation. Meanwhile, Siemens Energy edged lower after announcing the acquisition of Northern Ireland’s Camlin Group.

The DAX Index Closes 0.40% Lower
The DAX Index fell 102 points or 0.40 percent on Monday to close at 25003 points. Leading the losses are Rheinmetall (-6.51%), Bayer (-3.83%) and MTU Aero Engines AG (-3.81%). Top gainers were SAP (8.03%), Brenntag (1.34%) and RWE (1.06%).
