European Stocks Gain Traction

Stocks in Europe rebounded form a subdued open, with the STOXX 50 adding 0.3% and the STOXX 600 rising 0.4%, as traders focus on corporate updates while keeping a close eye on the situation in the Middle East and awaiting key results from Alphabet and Tesla later in the day.
Airbus soared more than 6% after the company unveiled a €5 billion share buyback programme and raised its guidance.
Randstad also topped the STOXX 600 and gained nearly 8% after a revenue beat.
Unicredit shares were up 1.3% to hit 16-year highs of €83.53 ahead of its earnings report.
In addition, Santander rebounded to add almost 2% after reporting a 17% year-on-year increase in underlying net profit for the second quarter.
In contrast, the tech sector was under pressure, with ASML Holding falling 2.1%, SAP losing 1.2%, and STMicroelectronics slipping 0.8%.
