DAX Hovers Around Record Highs

The DAX 40 was little changed around 26,440 on Monday, holding close to record highs, led by gains in tech stocks, while attention remained on geopolitical developments.

Meanwhile, investors continued to adjust their expectations for US interest rates following a series of weaker-than-expected economic data.

Infineon Technologies was the standout performer, rising 2.1%, with AI-related companies Siemens Energy and Hochtief advancing 1.8% and 1.1%, respectively.

Rheinmetall (1.3%) and RWE (0.9%) also rose firmly.

On the downside, Scout24 (-2%), Zalando (-1.6%) and Beiersdorf (-1.2%) posted the biggest declines.

The DAX Index Opens 0.03% Higher
The DAX Index is up by 9 points or 0.03 percent on Monday. Top gainers are Infineon (2.25%), Siemens Energy (1.95%) and Rheinmetall (1.50%). Biggest losses came from Zalando (-1.69%), Beiersdorf (-1.25%) and Adidas (-1.02%).

The DAX Index Closes 0.53% Higher
The DAX Index went up by 141 points or 0.53 percent on Friday to close at 26440 points. The rise was led by Scout24 (3.98%), Rheinmetall (2.86%) and SAP (2.75%). On the downside, the weakerst performers were E.ON (-4.38%), Merck (-2.92%) and Vonovia (-1.71%).
