European Stocks Poised for Lower Open

European equity markets were set to open lower on Monday as oil prices extended their rally amid escalating attacks between the US and Iran, keeping inflation and interest rate concerns firmly in focus.
Investors also continued to contend with a deepening selloff in semiconductor stocks amid growing doubts over the sustainability of massive artificial intelligence spending.
Meanwhile, markets will assess Germany’s producer price index and Eurozone construction output data for fresh economic signals.
On the corporate front, Ryanair Holdings said fiscal first-quarter profit fell 34% as the Middle East conflict drove up oil prices and weakened consumers' appetite for travel.
In premarket trading, Euro Stoxx 50 and Stoxx 600 futures were both down about 0.3%.
