Eurozone consumer confidence edged up by 0.2 points from a month earlier to -12.2 in February 2026, the highest reading since November 2024, slightly below forecasts of -11.8, according to flash estimates.
In the broader European Union, consumer sentiment stood at -11.7, unchanged from the previous month.
However, the indexes in both the euro area and the EU continue to signal cautious household sentiment, remaining below long-term averages.
