The EU-harmonised inflation rate in Italy rose 0.1% month-on-month in August 2026, rebounding modestly from a 1.0% decline in the previous month, preliminary estimates showed. Harmonised Inflation Rate MoM in Italy averaged 0.22 percent from 1990 until 2026, reaching an all time high of 3.80 percent in October of 2022 and a record low of -2.50 percent in January of 2015. source: National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT)
