Italy’s harmonised consumer prices rose by 1.6% month-on-month in April 2026, easing slightly from an over two-year high of 1.7% in the previous month, slightly below preliminary estimates of 1.7%. Harmonised Inflation Rate MoM in Italy averaged 0.22 percent from 1990 until 2026, reaching an all time high of 3.80 percent in October of 2022 and a record low of -2.50 percent in January of 2015. source: National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT)
