Ghana Inflation Rate Rises to 8-Month High

Ghana's annual consumer inflation increased marginally for the fourth straight month, reaching 23.8% in December 2024, up from 23% in the prior month.
It was the steepest inflation rate since April 2024, mainly driven by prices of food & non-alcoholic beverages (27.8% vs 25.9%).
Meanwhile, price growth decelerated for non-food products (20.3% vs 20.7%).
