New housing prices in Canada fell 0.4% month-over-month in October 2025, marking the eighth consecutive month without an increase and following a 0.2% decline in September.

The data highlight continued softness in the housing market.

The land price index held steady, while the housing-only component fell 0.6%.

Prices in Ontario declined slightly more than in the previous month (-0.6% vs -0.5%), while prices in Quebec eased to 0.3% from 1.1%.
