Brazil Bank Lending Rises in September

The total value of outstanding loans in Brazil rose 1.1% month-over-month to R$6.8 trillion in September 2025, the most since December, following a 0.5% increase in August.
Corporate credit increased 1.7% to R$2.6 trillion, while household lending grew 0.7% to R$4.3 trillion.
On an annual basis, overall credit expansion slowed to 10.1% from 10.4% in August.
Corporate credit maintained its annual growth rate at 8.7%, whereas household credit eased to 11.0% from 11.4%.
