The CAC 40 rose 0.4% to close at 8,406 on Monday as a pause in US-Iran hostilities over the weekend sent oil prices lower.
Crude prices fell after both countries halted strikes amid renewed diplomatic efforts, with President Donald Trump reportedly open to restarting peace talks.
The decline in oil prices eased energy-driven inflation concerns, supporting the broader market.
Financials led the gains, with BNP Paribas up 2.1% and AXA adding 1.2%.
Luxury stocks also advanced amid lower risk aversion ahead of upcoming earnings, with LVMH up 0.9%, L'Oréal gaining 0.7%, Hermès rising 1.7%, and Kering adding 1.3%.
Safran (+1.6%), Air Liquide (+0.7%), Airbus (+1.6%), EssilorLuxottica (+1.7%), and Danone (+1.4%) are also due to report earnings this week.
Meanwhile, TotalEnergies fell 1.7% on lower oil prices, while Engie (-2.5%) and STMicroelectronics (-1.7%) were among the session's biggest laggards.
