TSX Futures Rise as Oil Prices Ease

Futures tracking the S&P/TSX Composite Index moved higher on Friday as the rally for oil prices halted and cooled energy-driven inflation concerns.
Lower bond yields supported financials and the broader market.
Gold prices edged higher, lifting mining stocks.
Elsewhere, Dutch engineering consultancy Arcadis said it had received a second unsolicited takeover bid from Canadian peer WSP Global.
Earlier this week, the Trump administration imposed a 50% tariff on a range of Canadian imports, although the US is aiming to reach interim trade deals with Canada and Mexico by the end of 2026.
