Exports from Montenegro surged 14.5 percent year-on-year to EUR 35.3 million in April 2018. Considering the January to April period, sales rose 14.3 percent year-on-year to EUR 129.2 million, mainly due to manufactured goods (+9.8 percent) and machinery & transport equipment (+43.2 percent). Serbia (17.8 pct of total exports), Bosnia and Herzegovina (12.7 pct) and Hungary (8.5 pct) were the main export partners. Exports in Montenegro averaged 31094.88 EUR Thousand from 2007 until 2018, reaching an all time high of 52965.30 EUR Thousand in March of 2007 and a record low of 11428 EUR Thousand in May of 2009.
