Exports from Latvia rose 1% year-on-year to EUR 959 million in February of 2019, boosted by higher sales of wood & articles of wood; wood charcoal (+16.7%); beverages, spirits & vinegar (+16.2%); pharmaceutical products (+8.7%); articles of iron & steel (+10.9%) and furniture, other furnishing articles; prefabricated buildings (+15%). The major export partners were Lithuania (15.8% of total exports), Estonia (12.5%), Germany (8.2%) and Sweden (7.4%). Exports in Latvia averaged 435.40 EUR Million from 1993 until 2019, reaching an all time high of 1168.22 EUR Million in November of 2018 and a record low of 53.10 EUR Million in January of 1994.
