The FTSE MIB rose 1% to around 46,340 on Monday, extending last week’s gains amid a positive global backdrop.

Other key performers included Leonardo (+2.6%), BPER Banca (+1.3%), Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (+1.2%), and Prysmian (+1.0%).

Meanwhile, investors awaited crucial US economic data later this week for more clues on the Federal Reserve’s policy outlook.
