The CAC 40 rose 0.4% to close at 8,116 on Friday, rebounding from the previous session as heavyweight industrial stocks led gains and investors assessed fresh domestic economic data.
Airbus advanced 2.1%, while Safran gained 1.9%.
Chipmaker STMicroelectronics also climbed 5.2%, extending momentum in the global tech sector after Nvidia reported stronger-than-expected first-quarter sales.
On the economic front, France’s overall business climate index held steady at 94 in May, in line with expectations but still below its long-term average of 100.
Weakness in services and retail offset stronger industrial confidence, highlighting continued pressure on domestic demand from the economic fallout of the Iran war.
Meanwhile, the manufacturing business climate index rose to a four-month high of 102 from 100 in April.
