Chile’s consumer prices fell 0.2% month-on-month in December, reversing a 0.3% increase in November. Seven of the 13 CPI divisions recorded negative contributions to the monthly result, while six posted gains. The steepest declines were seen in clothing and footwear (-3.2%) and food and non-alcoholic beverages (-0.4%).
