New housing prices in Canada fell 0.1% month-over-month in June 2026, following a 0.3% decline in May.
The drop was smaller than the 0.2% decline expected by markets and marked the mildest monthly decrease since prices last increased in February.
The decline was driven by a 0.3% fall in land prices, while house-only prices rose 0.1%.
On an annual basis, new housing prices declined 2.3%, easing slightly from a 2.4% drop in May.
