New home prices in Canada fell 0.2% in June 2025, marking the third consecutive monthly decline and missing market expectations of no change.
The sharpest monthly drop was seen in Greater Sudbury (-0.9%), followed by Calgary (-0.8%), as builders cited a market slowdown that gave buyers more leverage to negotiate lower prices.
On the upside, Charlottetown saw the largest price gain (+1.4%), followed by Victoria (+0.7%).
