The FTSE MIB Index went up by 236 points or 0.50 percent on Thursday to close at 47328 points.
The rise was led by Eni (3.96%), Leonardo SpA (3.09%) and Tenaris (2.50%).
On the downside, the weakerst performers were Recordati (-2.03%), Brunello Cucinelli (-1.61%) and Banca Mediolanum (-1.08%).
