Exports from Mauritius increased 0.8 percent year-on-year to MUR 6.79 billion in August 2018 from MUR 6.74 billion in the same month a year ago, mostly due to higher sales of miscellaneous manufactured articles (11.4 percent); manufactured goods classified chiefly by material (17.4 percent) and chemicals and related products (8.3 percent). Main export partners were: South Africa (13.3 percent of total exports), the USA (11.2 percent), the UK (11.1 percent) and France (10.9 percent). Exports in Mauritius averaged 9315.34 MUR Million from 1985 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 21687 MUR Million in December of 2012 and a record low of 1407 MUR Million in June of 1985.
