FTSE MIB Rises Over 1%

The FTSE MIB climbed more than 1% to around 43,800 on Tuesday, reaching its highest level in over two weeks.
Shares of Davide Campari-Milano rose 1.9% after Barclays upgraded the Italian spirits company’s rating from “equal-weight” to “overweight” and raised its price target from €6.10 to €7.90.
Banks were also among the top gainers, including UniCredit (+1.6%), Bper Banca (+1.9%), Mediobanca (+1.3%), and Banca Mediolanum (+1.5%).
On the economic front, Italy’s unemployment rate fell to 6% in October from 6.2% in September, slightly below market expectations of 6.1%.
