Exports from Finland increased 9 percent year-on-year to EUR 4.8 billion in February 2018, boosted by higher sales of forest industry products, paper pulp, passenger cars, petroleum products, nickel, copper and ore. By contrast, exports of machinery and equipment fell the most, followed by iron and steel. Among trading partners, exports to the EU grew 7 percent, in particular to Germany, while those to non-EU countries they jumped 12 percent, mainly to the US and China. Exports in Finland averaged 2728.38 EUR Million from 1975 until 2018, reaching an all time high of 6451 EUR Million in April of 2008 and a record low of 190.90 EUR Million in August of 1975.
