South Korea Housing Starts
South Korea Housing Starts measures the number of new residential units on which construction has begun during the reference month. The statistics are compiled monthly by the Housing Policy Division of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) and cover housing projects subject to building permits under the Building Act (Articles 11 and 14) and housing construction project approvals under the Housing Act (Article 15).
