Sensex Erases Earlier Gains
India’s BSE Sensex fell about 0.2% to 74,736 on Tuesday, erasing gains from the earlier session, as declines in financial and technology stocks weighed on the benchmark. On the upside, Coal India rose about 3.1% after Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock to “overweight” on a stronger earnings outlook. Pace Digitek jumped about 10.5% after winning a 4.88 billion-rupee order from an NTPC unit.
