Chile Producer Inflation at 2022-High

Chile's producer prices increased 20.5% year-on-year in May of 2026, marking the highest level since July 2022, accelerating from 17.7% in April.
Mining prices showed the biggest increase, surging 35%, followed by utilities (5%) and manufacturing (4.8%).
On a monthly basis, producer prices increased 2.8%, up from 1.6% in the prior month, and bringing the year-to-date increase to 8.2%.
