Chile Industrial Output Declines in November

Chile’s industrial production fell 0.8% year-on-year in November 2025, following a 0.5% decline in October.
Mining output dropped 1.3%, after a 0.8% contraction in the prior month, with copper production down 7.2% and metallic mining falling 4.3%.
Manufacturing output declined 1.3%, worsening from a 0.6% drop in October, driven by a 17% fall in wood production and wood and cork products.
In contrast, utilities output rose 2.4%, accelerating from 1.1% in the previous month, as electricity generation increased 2.2%.
