Taiwan’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate fell to 3.33% in February 2026 from 3.36% in the previous month.
This marked the lowest reading since October last year, as the number of unemployed persons fell by 4 thousand from a month earlier to a seven-month low of 401 thousand.
Among youths aged 15 to 24, the unemployment rate fell to 11.34% from 11.44% in January.
Meanwhile, total employment declined by 5 thousand from the previous month to 11.64 million, driven by small reductions in agriculture and services, while industry employment remained stable.
At the same time, the labor force participation rate remained largely unchanged to 59.6%.
