Sri Lanka Construction PMI
In Sri Lanka, the Construction PMI (Purchasing Managers' Index) survey is conducted targeting highest graded local construction companies registered in the Construction Industry Development Authority covering around 35 responses to capture month on month development. The index tracks variables such as new orders, employment, quantity of purchases and suppliers' delivery time. A reading above 50 indicates that the services sector is generally expanding; below 50 indicates that it is generally declining.
