Retail sales in Serbia increased by 4.6% year-on-year in February 2026, the lowest increase in five months, down from 5.5% increase in January. Turnover rebounded for automotive fuel in specialized stores, increasing 2.3% from a 1.8% decline in the previous month, while food, beverage and tobacco turnover increased slightly to 5.3% from 5.2%. In contrast, non-food products excluding energy turnover growth eased to 4.8% from 8.8%.
