Paraguay Exports
Paraguay has an export oriented economy. Soy accounts for 41 percent of total shipments, of which soybeans (28 percent), soy flour (7 percent) and soy oil (6 percent). The country has become the fourth largest exporter and the sixth biggest producer of soybeans. Other exports include: meat (16 percent) , electric energy (15 percent), and cereals (7 percent). Main export partners are: Brazil (38 percent of total exports), Argentina (20 percent), Chile (12 percent) and Russia (4 percent). Others include: the United States, Uruguay, India, and Israel.
