Imports to Norway increased by 6.5 percent from a year earlier to NOK 54.14 billion in October of 2017. Purchases went up for: crude materials, inedible, except fuels (12.6 percent); mineral fuels, lubricants and related materials (22.6 percent); manufactured goods (10.6 percent) and chemicals (9.5 percent). On the other hand, imports dropped for ships and oil platforms (-85.6 percent) and machinery and transport equipment (-0.1 percent). Imports in Norway averaged 17236.34 NOK Million from 1960 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 67377 NOK Million in June of 2017 and a record low of 696 NOK Million in July of 1960.
