Mexico Retail Sales Accelerate Slightly in October

Retail sales in Mexico increased 3.4% year-on-year in October 2025, above forecasts of 3%, and slightly faster than the 3.3% rise seen in September.
Growth was driven by online and catalog sales, which surged 20.5%, followed by healthcare articles (14.4%) and household appliances (10.6%).
Sales of vehicles and fuels rose 5.6%, while textiles, costume jewelry, fashion accessories and footwear increased 2.8%.
In contrast, grocery and beverage sales declined 2.4%, and stationery and recreational goods fell 0.7%.
Retail employment grew 1%, while wages increased 3.3%.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, real income from goods and services rose 0.4%.
