Mexico Consumer Confidence Edges Down in March

Consumer confidence in Mexico edged down to 44.1 in March 2026 from 44.4 in February, reflecting a more pessimistic assessment of the country’s economic conditions (38.8 vs. 40.0) and a decline in consumers’ current ability to purchase durable goods (29.1 vs. 30.3).
Expectations for the broader economy remained unchanged at 45.1.
On a more positive note, perceptions of the overall household situation improved slightly (51.0 vs. 50.8), as did expectations for future household conditions (56.7 vs. 56.2).
