The consumer confidence indicator in the Czech Republic rose 0.6 points to 110.4 in March 2026 from 107.6 in the previous month.

The uptick was supported by a continued decline in the number of consumers anticipating a worsening economic outlook over the coming year, alongside a slight reduction in those reporting a deterioration in their current financial conditions compared to the past twelve months.

Expectations for personal finances remained broadly stable, with little change in the share of households anticipating improvement.

Meanwhile, fewer respondents indicated reluctance to undertake large purchases in the year ahead, suggesting a modest strengthening in spending intentions.
