Baltic Dry Index Falls from 9-Week High

The Baltic dry index decreased 0.2% to 3,083 on Monday, easing from a nine-week high reached on Friday.
The capesize index, which typically transports 150,000-ton cargoes, including iron ore and coal, fell 0.5% to 5,105.
On the other hand, the panamax index, which usually carries 60,000 to 70,000 tons of coal or grain, increased 0.4% to 2,306, its highest since June 2.
Meanwhile, the supramax index was little changed at 1,603.
