Chile Retail Sales Growth Eases

Retail sales in Chile increased 4.5% year-on-year in April 2025, following an upwardly revised 7.2% rise in March.

The largest contributions came from sales at electronics, household equipment, and technology products (8.5%); food (4.9%); and various consumer goods (6.8%).

Compared to the previous month, retail sales fell 0.3%.

Considering the first four months of the year, retail sales went up 5.5%.
